Meet Chef Denise!

I'm a professionally trained chef with over 8 years of restaurant experience, where I honed my skills in creating delicious, wholesome meals. My culinary journey has been anything but traditional - I've been self-employed in various other ventures, including turning my entire back yard into an organic food garden filled with vegetables, herbs, and fruit, where I sold heirloom vegetable starters every spring, before finding my true passion back to the kitchen.

What sets Garden Girl Chef apart is my commitment to fresh, plant-based cooking using locally sourced garden fresh ingredients. When the COVID shutdown hit, I saw an opportunity to bring restaurant-quality, healthy meals to my friends. I'm proud to be Petaluma's 1st Licensed Home Kitchen in Sonoma County's MEHKO program (Microenterprise Home Kitchen Operation), which allows me to prepare and sell food from my home kitchen while maintaining the highest safety and quality standards.

Every dish I create reflects my love for fresh, seasonal ingredients and belief that plant-based food can be both nourishing and absolutley delicious! I can't wait to share my passion for garden-to table cooking with you!
